Guan Yin Buddha of Compassion
Guan yin is a Universal Mother comparable to the One we know in the west as Mother Mary in the Christian tradition, both represent the Motherly protective aspect, full of compassion.
Her name Guan Shi Yin Pusa, means; The One who hears the cries of Humanity. Pusa means Bodhisattva, she gave herself this title out of Humility, but She already reached Buddhahood a long time ago. She already lived millions of lifetimes, She took a vow to serve humanity and all souls until all souls reach enlightenment, This certainly is something to ponder over for awhile what this really means!

Guan Yin’s new Name in this Soul Light Era which started August 8, 2003 is Ling Hui Shen Shi, Ling Hui Sheng Shi means Soul Intelligence Saint Servant.
